House Calls

Would your pet benefit from a house call?

We know that bringing your pet into the veterinary office can be challenging and stressful. Arthritic pets, nervous pets, or multiple pets can be a transportation challenge. Some pets love seeing us just as much as we love seeing them, however, some simply do not do well in the traditional veterinary office environment. Though our Cat Clinic has been a wonderful addition, giving our feline visitors a quiet and dog free area, many are stressed from being put in a carrier and riding in the car. House calls are also a great option for the family always on the go. Trying to juggle the children and the pets can leave you exhausted!

These are just some of the reasons you may want to consider a house call veterinary appointment. House calls provide an opportunity for our doctors to examine your pet in familiar surroundings, reducing their stress, fear and trauma. When pets are seen in their own home, many times, they are calmer and less apprehensive, which helps the doctor to perform a more thorough examination. This is also helpful in evaluating their behavior and overall demeanor.

We know how important your pets are to you and your family. We understand not all of them run to the car or into the carrier, excited to come see us. For those pets, we are happy and excited to provide a less stressful approach to maintaining their happiness and health!

If a veterinary house call is a good option for your pet or your busy lifestyle, please give us a call. One of our client care specialists would be happy to help you.
